I saw this commercial while getting ready for work this morning, created by the talented team over at Leo Burnett.
Upon first glance I would have bet a fair deal of money that this was actually a car commercial, with its soft-sell and wonderfully whimsical style. By the end I could not help but think to myself "Isn't this a little to good, perhaps a little to thought-out and conceptual for McDonalds. The same McDonalds whos standard brand includes "Hey let's just do what we know everybody loves" apparently said "Hey lets do something really cool instead!".
I don't know whether to congratulate Leo Burnett on a fine execution or having the ability to convince McDonalds to try something different.
